Hamid Djodeiri Khodashenas is an active Iranian eclipse chaser who has chased and observed four totalities around the world so far. The first was 1999 in Gahar, Lorestan province of Iran. The second was 2001 eclipse in Zimbabwe and the Last was 2003 eclipse observed in Antarcticam, and the recent last was 2005 totality in the Pacific Ocean.

He was among the first human beings who have observed total solar eclipse in the white continent and also among the few people who observed 2005 totality only seen within the ocean.

He has recently traveled to the USA to take part in ALCON 2005. ALCON is the annual convention of american astronomers specially of amateurs named Astronomoical League which has more than 18000 members from all over the USA. ALCON 2005 was held in Kansas City, Missouri and more than 300 hundred amatuer and professional astronomers from different american astronomical societies, astronomical vendors and universities got together and shared their experiences of astronomy.
